NCAA PROGRESS TOWARDS DEGREE:

DI: Student-athletes are held to certain percentages of degree completion (40/60/80) upon arrival at D1 campus. These percentages are based on full-time semesters.

  • 40% after 4/5 full-time semesters
  • 60% after 6/7 full-time semesters
  • 80% after 8/9 full-time

DII: Progress Towards Degree rule does not come into effect until after a student-athlete begins at the 4-year institution. Rule is unit-based, not percentage based.

DI and DII:  Pass 6 transferrable units during your last full-time semester
