COM Men’s Basketball Keeps on Rolling with 103-77 Win over Alameda

A balanced scoring attack kept the Mariners on the correct side of a 103-77 score line again the visitors from College of Alameda. Marin pushed their conference record to 3-0 and their season record to 8-3, as Trevelin Queen led Marin with 25 points and five Mariners scored in double digits.

The game opened with a 9-0 run by Marin and by the end of the first half the Mariners had a 56-29 lead as three players scored in double digits. Nylek Cobb had 12 points courtesy of a trio of three pointers, Karim N'Diaye had 12 points and Queen added 11 of his own.

The second half saw all players involved as all 10 members of the squad found their way on the scoresheet. The final score of 103-77 merely emphasized the dominance of Marin. As a team, Marin shot 58% from the floor, and 74% from the free throw line.

Queen had 25 points, seven rebounds, three assists and three steals. Cobb had 12 points and three blocks while Derek Morgan tallied eight points, eight rebounds, four assists, three steals and two blocks of his own.
