College of Marin Men's Soccer added a few awards to their trophy case. It was announced that Julien Melendez, Devon Miller-Gowan and Colin Sneddon were named to the 2016 Men's Soccer Academic All-State Team. The  trio competed for the College of Marin Men's Soccer team in the 2015 season. 

Julien Melendez was the captain and starting midfielder for the Mariners as well as an excellent student off the pitch. Devon Miller-Gowan was a stalwart in the central defense while Colin Sneddon excelled between the pipes in goal.

Melendez and Miller-Gowan were sophomores in 2015 but Sneddon still has one more year of competition. He is redshirting this year, but will return to the field for the Mariners in 2017.
