Five Mariners Post Top 10 Finishes At Chabot Invitational

The College of Marin Swim & Dive traveled to Hayward on Saturday to compete in the Chabot College Invitational. Five different Mariners recorded top ten finshes in the final regular season competition of the season.

In the pool Hope Garrett finished second in the 100 meter backstroke with a time of 1:07:44. She also finished fifth in the 200 meter butterfly in 2:25:24. For the men, Alex Sennenn swam in the 200 meter backstroke and posted a time of 3:19:47, good for seventh place. 

In the diving tank Perry Kindle led the women's team with 145.53 points for a second place finish. Her teammate Maddie Bailey finished fourth in the diving competition with 115.30 points.  Brandon Guy placed second for the men's team with 115.30 points. 

Next up for the Aquatic Mariners are the NorCal Diving Championships at DeAnza College on Saturday April 16th with the top six finishers qualifying for the State Championships. The Bay Valley Conference Championships are at Solano College from April 21th-23rd.
