Kindle Edges Bailey ,Wins Two BVC Diving Titles At NorCal Diving Championships

Perry Kindle finished a remarkable freshman season on Saturday, posting the highest score of Bay Valley Conference divers in the one and three meter diving competitions at DeAnza College. Fellow divers Maddie Bailey, and Jessica Luna also had strong showings on the women's side while Brandon Guy placed fifth in the Bay Valley Conference for the men's team.

Kindle earned 141.3 points in the one meter diving competition good for first play in the BVC and ninth in Northern California.  Maddie Bailey placed third in conference and 10th in Northern California with 121.65 points. Freshman Jessica Luna scored 60.5 placing her fifth in the Bay Valley Conference.

In the three meter diving competition Kindle again placed first in the Bay Valley Conference with a score of 105.5. That score put Kindle at 11th in the Northern California. Bailey was just behind Kindle with 97. 5 points for second in the BVC and 12th in NorCal.

For the men's team Brandon Guy grabbed 81.8 points, good for a fifth place finish in conference and 24th in Northern California.

The Bay Valley Conference Championships for swimming events are April 21st-April 23rd at Solano College in Fairfield.
