Huezo Nets Winner as Women’s Soccer Nabs 1-0 Win Over Los Medanos College

The College of Marin Women's Soccer team is beginning to gel. A late goal by Jenny Huezo against Los Medanos College gave the Mariners the 1-0 victory. After a slow start to the season, the team is on the upswing. Despite beginning 0-3, the Mariners have been victorious in 3 of their last five matches.  The team record sits at 3-5 overall and 3-4 in conference.

College of Marin hosted Los Medanos and came out victorious after an 80^th minute goal from Jenny Huezo.  The central midfielder latched onto a pass from Maddie Bailey and coolly found the back of the net.  Goalkeeper Patty Lindsay saved five shots from Los Medanos in route to her second shutout of the season.
