No stranger to hall of fame inductions, Rich is a member of the Marin High School Athletic Hall of Fame and the San Francisco State University Hall of Fame.  At San Rafael High School is where he built his foundation in sports and serving his community.  In high school, he was a vital member of the football, basketball, and track & field teams as well as Student Body President, Boys’ Organization President, Sportsman Club President, and Block Club President.  Rich went onto star on the College of Marin Football Team before going on to transfer to play at San Francisco State University.

His professional accolades are as impressive as his athletic merits.  Rich was a San Rafael City Councilman and President of two chambers.  He formerly owned Nave Bowling Lanes and actively is on local aviation committees and manages property with Nave Enterprises.  Rich and his wife Dolly have 8 kids and currently have 34 grandchildren.
