Basketball Players Price and Everly Named Mariners of the Month for January

College of Marin Basketball players Jaychelle Price and Noah Everly were named January’s Mariners of the Month.

Sophomore point guard for the Women’s Basketball team Jaychelle Price led her team in the month of January with double digit scoring in five of six games. In January Price averaged 14.8 points per game, 7.3 rebounds per game, 3.2 assists per game and 2.5 steals per game. Her finest performance game in Marin’s 66-36 win over Mendocino College on January 12th. Price just missed a triple double while notching 17 points, 11 rebounds and nine assists.  On January 27th against Solano College Price had 20 points five rebounds and three steals in a losing effort.

Noah Everly, the sophomore shooting guard from San Marin High School had a stellar month of January. He led his team to a 6-2 record and averaged 17 points per game on 55.8% shooting. He also averaged 2.8 rebounds per game and 2 assists per game while turning the ball over just two times in the month. He had 27 points on 12-20 shooting in a January 27th 79-70 win against Solano College.
