Why did you choose College of Marin?

I chose College of Marin because I was given the opportunity to play volleyball while also being able to explore my academic interests.

What are your academic/career goals?

I plan on finishing this semester with an Associate's Degree in Behavioral Science and within the next year, I hope to enter a flight attendant training program.

How do you manage being a full-time student and an athlete?

Being an athlete for eleven years has taught me how to manage my time well with having to work around practice and game schedules. With a busy schedule, I find I am more organized and efficient. The more time I have on my hands the lazier I become. Keeping a calendar also keeps me on track.

What do you enjoy about athletics?

I have loved volleyball since I was five on the sideline watching my older sister play. I am highly competitive and always trying to improve my game. Being part of a team has taught me how to work cooperatively with others and set goals whether they be personal or shared team goals.
