We are thrilled to announce that Josiah Dachauer, a promising freshman swimmer hailing from Novato, CA, has been named Co-Mariner of the Month for February by the esteemed Student-Athlete Advisory Committee. 

A Record-Breaking Debut 

In an impressive debut at the College of Marin, Josiah wasted no time in making his mark. His standout performance in the 200-yard butterfly event earned him the accolade of having the second-fastest time in COM history, clocking in at an impressive 2:38.14. This achievement speaks volumes about Josiah's talent and dedication to the sport. 

Versatility and Determination 

Josiah's competitive spirit was evident as he took on multiple events throughout the month. In addition to his remarkable feat in the 200-yard butterfly, he also showcased his versatility in the Men’s 50 Fly, where he clocked an impressive time of 28.04. Furthermore, his strong showing in the Men’s 100 Breast, with a time of 1:13.81, further solidified his status as a formidable competitor in various events.
