We are delighted to announce that Women’s Basketball, Samantha Morris, a promising freshman from Fairfield, CA, has earned the well-deserved title of Co-Mariner of the Month for December 

Emerging Talent and Leadership 

Samantha's impact as a freshman post is truly remarkable. Averaging 8.7 points and 6.6 rebounds per game, she has quickly solidified herself as a key player on the team. Beyond her statistical contributions, Samantha stands out as one of the team's leaders, bringing a vibrant spirit and positive attitude to practices and games, uplifting and motivating her teammates. 

Stellar Performance Against Gavilan College Rams 

Samantha's defining moment occurred on December 14th during a compelling matchup against the Gavilan College Rams. In an impressive 37-minute display, she achieved her second double-double as a Mariner, amassing 20 points and an outstanding 15 rebounds. Samantha's all-around game was on full display, including three steals and two assists, showcasing her versatility and impact on both ends of the court.

As a freshman, Samantha Morris has already demonstrated maturity beyond her years, contributing not only with her skills but also with her leadership qualities. Her positive presence is a driving force for the team, creating an encouraging environment that fosters growth and unity.
