Wilson Barahona, Men's Soccer

Men’s Soccer Sophomore named Co-Mariner of the Month for November. The sophomore forward from Casa Grande High School started in all 16 games and scored four goals this season. Barahona is known for his speed and toughness on the field. He is also a playmaker, keeping himself involved in the game. On October 4th in the Bay Valley Conference opener against Mendocino College, Barahona scored a goal in the first half and assisted the goal scored in the second half which secured the win for the Mariners.  

During his time as a Mariner, Barahona has played in 35 games and started in 33. 

 
Why did you choose College of Marin?  

I choose College of Marin for the athletic program. 

What are your academic/career goals? 

To attain a degree 

How do you manage being a full-time student and an athlete?  

Getting priorities straight. Thinking about my past and future self for motivation. 

 
What do you enjoy about athletics? 

I love the competition, competing and improving is beyond fun.
