Mariners Men's Basketball team picked up the first win of the season beating Hartnell College 93-78 at the West Valley Tournament. The Mariners featured an all-freshmen line-up that have stepped up in facing some of the better teams in Northern California. Guard Daniel Fagan has consistently stood out in the beginning of the season and he didn't dissapoint versus Hartnell. The freshman guard out of De Anza High School poored in 16 points, 3 assists, and 2 steals. 

Freshman Luke Vrcelj led all scorers with 21 points after getting hot from downtown, shooting 4-5 from 3-point land. Former Branson School star, Lukas Prongos, added 16 points along with 6 rebounds. Former Vintage High School standout Blake Murray added another 13 points.

Next, the Mariners will host De Anza College on Friday, November 19th at 6pm on Don Barksdale Court at the Diamond Center in Kentfield.
