Camille Davis, Coast Conference Champion

The College of Marin Athletics community is buzzing with excitement as Camille Davis, a sophomore and standout diver for the Mariners, has emerged as the Coast Conference Champion in both the 1m and 3m diving events. Camille's remarkable performance at the Norcal Regional qualification event on April 15, 2023, at Delta College in Stockton, earned her 1st place overall in the 1m diving event with an overall score of 207.05, just edging out the 2nd place finisher's score of 206.95.

 
In addition to her 1m diving victory, Camille also placed 4th overall in the 3m diving event at the Norcal Regional qualifier. 
 
Olivia Svuba, a freshman diver for the Mariners, also performed exceptionally well at the Norcal Regional diving qualifier, earning 10th place overall. She earned 3rd place in the Coast Conference with a score of 142.45, a remarkable achievement for a freshman diver. 
 
Camille's exceptional performance has qualified her for the CCCAA State Dive meet, which will take place on May 4-5. Her accomplishments this season have shown that she is a diver to watch, and her future in the sport is undoubtedly bright. Olivia has been named the 2nd alternate for 1M in the State meet, and her performance this season is a promising sign of what is to come in her future as a diver.
 

The College of Marin Athletics community is incredibly proud of Camille, Olivia, and coach Denis Bondarenko for their hard work and dedication to their sport. Their accomplishments this season have demonstrated that the Mariners diving program is a force to be reckoned with, and we look forward to watching their continued success in future seasons.
