While it had been nearly twenty one months since last playing a match, the Mariners Women's Volleyball team showed little rust as they jumped off to a dominant start in the 2021 campaign, dominating CCSF 3-0. While the College of Marin Volleyball team is mostly composed of freshmen, there are many familiar faces from the Spring 2021 Beach Volleyball Team. The chemistry and experience of playing a Beach Volleyball season together showed as the Mariners quickly shook off the first game gitters after winning the first set 25-22, by finishing out 25-16, and 25-12.

Rachel Reher lead the team with 12 kills, Haleigh Brown had 6 kills, hitting .308, and Riley Geary hit .571 with 4 kills and 7 digs.

Next, the Mariners are scheduled to host Sacramento City College on September 1 at 5pm.
