Amber Lincoln - Women's Soccer

We are excited to announce that Amber Lincoln, a freshman goalkeeper for the Women’s Soccer team, has been named Co-Mariner of the Month for September 2024. Hailing from Hawaii, Amber has quickly made a significant impact on the field, helping shift momentum in favor of the Mariners with her stellar performances.

A Multi-Sport Athlete with Unstoppable Drive

Despite joining the team late this year, Amber's competitive spirit never wavered. A two-sport athlete, she previously competed on both the women’s indoor and beach volleyball teams last season. When the women’s volleyball team was unable to compete this year, Amber’s drive to stay active and challenge herself led her to join the women’s soccer team—where she’s proven to be an invaluable asset.

A Standout Goalkeeper with Confidence and Skill

Amber’s transition to soccer has been nothing short of remarkable. As a standout goalkeeper, she has shown unwavering confidence and an impressive ability to make difficult saves under pressure. Her presence in goal has been instrumental to the team's defensive strength, and her fearless approach elevates the entire squad. Amber is leading the state with 122 saves in just 8 games played.

 Leadership Through Positivity and Growth

Beyond her skills on the field, Amber's positive attitude and growth mindset have been key to her success. She is constantly looking to improve and learn, making her a true team player and a source of inspiration to her teammates. Her willingness to step out of her comfort zone and thrive in a new sport speaks volumes about her character and determination.

 A Bright Future Ahead

We are incredibly grateful to have Amber as part of the College of Marin Women's Soccer team. Her outstanding contributions, both on and off the field, make her a deserving recipient of this prestigious recognition.

Congratulations to Amber Lincoln on being named Co-Mariner of the Month for September 2024! Her achievements serve as an inspiration to her teammates and the entire College of Marin community. We look forward to watching her continued success in all her future pursuits.
