Kailah Sarganis - Women's Swim

We are thrilled to announce that Kailah Sarganis, a standout sophomore swimmer from Marin County and a proud graduate of Marin Catholic High School, has been awarded the esteemed title of Co-Mariner of the Month for March by the Student-Athlete Advisory Committee. 

A Remarkable Journey 

Kailah commenced her journey with the Mariners in Fall 2022 as a valued member of the Women's Water Polo team. However, it's her remarkable achievements in swimming that have earned her the spotlight this month. Competing in a variety of events, including the 500m Free, 100m Free, and the grueling 1650 Free, Kailah has consistently showcased her talent and determination in the pool. 

Record-Breaking Performances 

Kailah's impact on the College of Marin Swim program is undeniable, as she has etched her name into the record books with her extraordinary performances: 

- 1st Place - 200 M Free - 2:08.55 (2023) 

- 2nd Place - 1650 M Free - 19:54.36 (2023) 

- 3rd Place - 500 M Free - 5:50.87 (2023) 

These records not only reflect Kailah's exceptional skill but also her relentless pursuit of excellence in the water. 

Academic Excellence 

In addition to her prowess in aquatics, Kailah has maintained a remarkable GPA of over 3.8 throughout her tenure as a Mariner. Her dedication to both her athletic and academic pursuits is truly commendable, setting her apart as a true scholar-athlete. 

A Bright Future Ahead 

As Kailah prepares to transition to a four-year university, pursuing a major in Applied Design 2 Dimensional, we have no doubt that her passion, dedication, and talent will continue to shine brightly in all her endeavors.
