Sophomore guard Samantha Aban, from Terra Linda, has been named Co-Mariner of the Month for February after playing a key role in the College of Marin women's basketball team's success. 

Aban showcased her scoring efficiency throughout the month, shooting 38% from the field and an impressive 87.5% from the free-throw line. She totaled 36 points in February, highlighted by a dominant 14-point performance against Los Medanos on February 12, where she went 5-for-13 from the field and a perfect 4-for-4 from the free-throw line. 

Beyond her scoring, Aban contributed across the board, pulling down 17 rebounds and dishing out eight assists. Her all-around play helped the Mariners secure four wins in February, solidifying their place in conference competition.
