On Thursday afternoon, the College of Marin Mariners defeated the Lassen Community College Cougars 7-6. The match-up  

By The Numbers:  

• The Mariners improve to 4-6 on the season. 

• College of Marin had nine hits  

• Jacob Campbell led the offense with one 2B, one HR, and two RBI. Jake Ferguson also contributed one 3B, one RBI, and one sac fly.  

How It Happened:  

The Mariners and Cougars battled back and forth all game. The Cougars scored in the top of the ninth, tying the score. Bottom of the 10th inning, Caleb Jeske hit the play to center field, allowing Jake Ferguson to score one run to secure the Mariner win.
