Mariners Dominate College of the Redwoods

The College of Marin Mariners are dominating on the soccer field in their recent 5-0 triumph over the College of the Redwoods.

In a match held on September 14th, the Mariners left no doubt about their dominance, with Enrique Amador netting two goals, and Pablo Nunez-Smith, Jeffrey Grijalva, and Kevyn Altamirano adding one each. It was an outstanding performance on both sides of the field.

Coach Irving Ventura-Rafaela couldn't be happier with his team's display. "This was a good result for us after battling Hartnell on Tuesday," he said. "The team has found its identity and style of play, which was displayed in today's game." It's clear that the Mariners are on a mission, and their commitment to improvement shines through.

But this victory is just the beginning. The Mariners are setting a high standard for themselves as they gear up for conference play in a few weeks. With their coordinated teamwork, skillful plays, and determination, they're ready to take on whatever challenges lie ahead.

The next test for the Mariners is a showdown with Gavilan College. Mark your calendars for September 21 at 2:00 PM at Pieper Field in Kentfield. It promises to be an afternoon of thrilling soccer action as the Mariners continue to build on their competitive momentum.
