Women’s Basketball Overwhelms Mendocino Eagles 58-39 In BVC Opener

Mariners Women's Basketball showed little hospitality to the Mendocino College Eagles in Ukiah on Friday evening. Marin smothered Mendocino over the first 10 minutes of play as they limited the Eagles to just three points. The Mariners' offense came together late as they scored 11 to lead by eight after the first quarter. The Eagles rallied of sorts in the second quarter as they mustered 15 points, but Marin kept the pressure on and led 25-18 at halftime.
