From the start of the game, the Mariners had control of the Hawks. College of Marin scored eight points before allowing Las Positas on the scoreboard. The Mariners controlled the game from the beginning with pressure from Isobel Crosswhite dominating in the paint. "Establishing Iso inside early was key to our success. She got us going in the first half with her points in the paint and rebounding." -Coach Schaefer  

Isobell Crosswhite had an impressive game netting 27 points and pulling down 14 rebounds. The Mariners had active hands with everyone contributing at least one steal. Mariner's defense held the Hawks to just two points in the fourth quarter.  

Coach Schaefer commented, "Proud of our whole team and how everyone executed our game plan and owned their roles."
