College of Marin women’s basketball team moves up in conference play with 61-51 win over Napa Valley on Wednesday night at the Don Barksdale Court. All Mariners worked well together by sharing the ball and communicating on defense.

How It Happened 

• Jayden Davis scored 8 of the Mariners' 12 points in the first quarter.  

• The post players; Kayley Armstrong and Isobell Crosswhite dominated in the second quarter.  

• Mariners went into the locker room with a one-point lead; 27-26  

• Mariners shot 30.8% from behind the arch.  

• T Claros and Aulani Leomiti hit a three apiece late in the fourth to secure the Mariner win.
