In an exciting home opener, College of Marin’s Women's Volleyball team showcased remarkable skill, teamwork, and determination, securing a sweeping victory with scores of 25-19, 25-16, and 25-18. Led by Head Coach Kevin Seeley and Assistant Coach Kalani Kwan-Sy, the win marked the dawn of a new era. 

With electrifying energy from COM’s men’s and women’s basketball teams, the team demonstrated a transformed synergy, reflecting their dedication during the off-season. Coach Seeley's strategic prowess was evident in precise serves, powerful spikes, and a balanced offense. Assistant Coach Kwan-Sy fostered player confidence and mental resilience, yielding a united front. 

Team captains Maylin Sanchez and Nadya Novichkova stated "We injected a burst of energy into the game. As the momentum wavered, we successfully revitalized it. Our communication improved in each set. Anticipation for the season is running high, we're only scratching the surface of our potential; we're excited for the upcoming challenges. We truly value the backing from our fans and their encouragement as the season progresses.” 

Coach Seeley echoed his team captains "When the stakes were high, we stepped up and performed admirably, ensuring strong finishes. The positive outcomes were indeed satisfying. As a team, we're in the process of mastering the art of winning, and it's noteworthy that each member played a meaningful role in our progress."
