The College of Marin Women's Water Polo Team is thrilled to announce the commencement of the 2023 season, poised to make waves in the world of collegiate water polo. Combining seasoned athletes with budding talents, the team is preparing for an exciting journey led by Coach Steve Carrera, who is entering his 23rd year of coaching, including 3 years at College of Marin. 

As the team plunges into the new season, the focus remains on teamwork, skill development, and strategic play. Coach Carrera's leadership promises to foster a competitive and cohesive unit that will challenge opponents both in and out of the water. The team's dedication to excellence is matched only by their passion for the sport. 

The College of Marin Women's Water Polo Team's first match is scheduled for Friday, August 25th, where they will face off against Modesto Junior College at 11:10 AM and Santa Rosa Junior College at 3:30 PM. The Mariner Invite will take place at the College of Marin's Miwok Aquatic Center in Novato, CA. The team invites supporters and water polo enthusiasts to join them in cheering on their journey to victory.
